Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility with compassion and dignity
• Take and record vital signs accurately, reporting any changes promptly to nursing staff
• Support safe patient transfers and positioning to reduce fall risk and improve comfort
• Document patient care and observations clearly to ensure continuity of care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized patient-centered care
• Maintain infection control standards and a clean, safe environment for patients
• Provide emotional support and respectful communication to patients and families

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a plus
• Ability to pass background checks and any required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program; high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven ability to provide compassionate patient care and assistance with ADLs
• Knowledge of basic clinical skills: vital signs, transfers, and observation
• Comfortable with accurate documentation and charting
• Good infection control practices and safety awareness
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and clinical teams
