Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and feeding as needed
• Take and record vital signs and observe patients for changes in condition
• Promptly report clinical changes and concerns to the nursing team
• Support safe, clean and comfortable patient environments
• Document patient care accurately and timely in facility records
• Collaborate respectfully with nurses, therapists and support staff to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (state-certified)
• Active or eligible for CNA certification in Pennsylvania
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Previous experience in long-term care or acute care preferred
• Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient-centered care and empathy
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and safe patient transfers
• Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, observing/reporting changes
• Good documentation and time-management skills
• Team player with clear communication and a professional attitude
• Knowledge of infection control and safety practices
