Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while following facility policies and nursing standards
• Administer medications, document treatments, and monitor patient responses accurately
• Perform clinical assessments and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate safe, effective care plans
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Support admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers with professionalism and empathy

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license (appropriate to the role) — Delaware license preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience in long-term care or acute care is a plus but enthusiasm and strong clinical skills matter most
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Professional communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN program or RN nursing program (diploma, ASN/ADN) as appropriate to license

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and charting best practices
• Basic nursing assessments and vital signs monitoring
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
• Infection control, patient safety, and standard precautions
• Strong time management and prioritization under busy shift conditions
