Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients during the night shift
• Perform thorough assessments and document changes in condition promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Respond to emergencies and de-escalate situations using clinical judgement
• Educate patients and families about care plans and follow-up needs
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and comply with facility policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — RN preferred
• Active, unrestricted license to practice in North Carolina or eligible for quick state licensing
• Minimum clinical experience desirable; new grads may be considered depending on facility needs
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN or RN program completion required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV/infusion basics
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and team members
• Time management and prioritization during fast-paced night shifts
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems
