Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a skilled nursing setting
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
- Monitor and document vital signs, clinical changes, and progress notes clearly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living while promoting resident dignity and independence
- Educate residents and families about care plans, medications, and safety
- Respond promptly to resident needs and emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Massachusetts (required)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
- Previous LPN experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a collaborative team
- Ability to pass required background checks and facility onboarding
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Completion of LPN licensure requirements (state board approved)
Knowledge & Skills
- Foundational knowledge of medication administration and documentation
- Skilled in wound care, catheter care, and basic rehabilitative support
- Familiarity with infection control practices and regulatory standards
- Comfortable using electronic medical records and charting accurately
- Time management and prioritization during busy 12-hour shifts
