Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day shift), 35 hours per week, no weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 43
Candidate Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patients to develop personalized treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions and supervised exercise programs
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans to achieve measurable outcomes
- Document clinical findings and treatment notes accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent care
- Educate patients and families on home programs and injury prevention
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Michigan or ability to obtain one
- Graduation from an accredited PT program (DPT preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
- Strong clinical assessment and manual therapy skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; patient-centered approach
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting preferred but new graduates encouraged to apply
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physical Therapy acceptable
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and treatment planning
- Therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and mobility training
- Clinical documentation and electronic medical records
- Rehabilitation equipment use and safety
- Effective patient and family education techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, OT, SLP and physicians
