Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult patients on your unit
• Assess patient condition and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Document care in the electronic medical record clearly and promptly
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth handoffs and continuity of care
• Support patient and family education to promote recovery and well-being

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure (RN) — New Mexico licensure preferred or eligible
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS are a plus
• Previous acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred
• Ability to pass mandated background checks and health screenings
• Comfort working 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competence
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Time management and prioritization in high-acuity settings
• Patient- and family-centered care mindset
