Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day) — No weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 43
Candidate Pay Rate: $45 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the rehabilitation department to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
- Develop and implement therapy programs and clinical protocols that improve outcomes
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate therapy staff while fostering professional development
- Collaborate with nursing, medical staff, and administration to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Manage department budgeting, staffing, and scheduling to meet operational goals
- Analyze clinical outcomes and operational metrics to guide strategic decisions
Qualifications
- Valid state license in a relevant therapy discipline (PT or OT preferred) and eligibility to practice in California
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a rehabilitation or therapy setting
- Strong communication, coaching, and team-building skills
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality assurance in post-acute care
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related clinical field required; advanced degree or leadership training preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical expertise in rehabilitation practices and therapeutic modalities
- Leadership skills for staff development and performance management
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices for post-acute care
- Experience with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
- Ability to analyze data and use metrics to drive clinical improvements
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams
