Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day, 35 hours/week, no weekend rotation)
Hours per Week: 43
Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, client-centered occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT
- Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions to improve patients’ daily living and work skills
- Perform patient assessments and document progress clearly and promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on strategies and adaptive equipment to maximize independence
- Maintain accurate, compliance-ready clinical records and communicate effectively with staff
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement
Qualifications
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) — required
- Active North Carolina OTA license or eligibility to obtain state licensure
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Comfortable working a daytime, Monday–Friday schedule (35 hours/week)
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, outpatient, or related settings preferred
Education
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (required)
- Graduation from an accredited OTA program and successful completion of certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in activity analysis and adaptive techniques for ADLs (activities of daily living)
- Knowledgeable in therapeutic modalities and assistive devices
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity with clinical charting
- Ability to assess functional status and measure progress toward goals
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and family education
- Teamwork and collaboration with PTs, OTs, nursing, and support staff
