Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day), 30 hours/week, weekends as needed
Hours per Week: 43
Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the physical therapist in evaluating and implementing treatment plans that help patients regain function
- Deliver therapeutic interventions and exercise programs with attention to safety and progress
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly and promptly
- Educate patients and families about home exercise programs and mobility strategies
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain equipment, therapy areas, and a safe treatment environment
Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Ohio (required)
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable providing hands-on care and able to assist with patient mobility
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work occasional weekends as needed
Education
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercise principles and modalities
- Skilled in patient transfers, gait training, and use of assistive devices
- Proficient documentation and charting practices
- Ability to follow care plans and report changes in patient status
- Compassionate patient interaction and effective teaching skills
