Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; weekend rotation (day shift)
Hours per Week: 43
Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients to identify functional limitations and craft individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and independence
- Track and document patient progress clearly and on time
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families on home programs and safety to support long-term recovery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Current Maine Physical Therapy license required
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required or obtain upon hire
- Strong clinical reasoning and patient-centered communication skills
- Comfortable working in a skilled nursing/rehab setting; new grads welcome to apply
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor's/Master's in Physical Therapy
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and gait training
- Proficient with patient documentation and care plan development
- Ability to assess mobility, balance, and functional needs
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient and family education
- Familiarity with assistive devices and safety protocols
