Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to help patients regain daily living skills and independence
• Collaborate closely with nurses, PTs, SLPs, and other team members to coordinate patient care
• Document patient progress accurately and timely in the clinical record
• Educate patients and family members on therapeutic techniques and home programs
• Participate in weekend rotation and contribute to a consistent, high-quality patient experience
• Support discharge planning and communicate needs and progress to the care team

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in New Hampshire or eligible to obtain license promptly
• Registration as an OTR or equivalent credential preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willing to obtain
• Experience working with adult rehabilitation or similar populations preferred
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to manage documentation and caseload in a fast-paced clinical environment

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (or related field) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in functional assessments and activity analysis
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment, splinting, and therapeutic modalities
• Proficient documentation and care-planning abilities
• Ability to educate patients and caregivers effectively
• Strong clinical reasoning and goal-oriented treatment planning
• Comfort working within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
