Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered physical therapy evaluation and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility training
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans of care to achieve measurable outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate high-quality patient care
• Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and functional goals
• Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge summaries in the medical record

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; related degrees considered
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Experience in outpatient or post-acute rehabilitation settings is a plus but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication skills, and a patient-first mindset

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master or Bachelor in Physical Therapy acceptable with equivalent experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, treatment planning, and outcome measurement
• Proficient with therapeutic modalities, manual techniques, and therapeutic exercise
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and thorough documentation
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and team communication
• Ability to prioritize caseloads and manage time effectively
