Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Day (35 hours/week, flexible)
Hours per Week: 43
Candidate Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess clients’ speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing abilities using evidence-based tools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that improve communication and quality of life
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Document progress clearly and timely to support clinical decision-making and continuity of care
- Provide training and education to caregivers and staff to reinforce therapeutic goals
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, patient-centered culture
Qualifications
- Current North Carolina license or eligible for NC licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or actively working toward
- Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations in clinical or school-based settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients, families, and staff
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Education
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in standardized and informal assessment techniques
- Skilled in developing measurable, functional therapy goals
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy approaches for speech, language and swallowing
- Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records
- Ability to collaborate effectively in an interdisciplinary care team
