Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Day shift (35 hours/week, no weekend rotation)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy assessment and interventions for patients in the facility
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on meaningful functional goals
- Monitor and document patient progress thoroughly and communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with nurses, PTs, SLPs, and other staff to create coordinated care plans
- Educate patients and caregivers on techniques and adaptive strategies to maximize independence
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapist license in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain state licensure
- Entry-level to experienced clinicians welcome; strong clinical reasoning and patient-centered skills
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Comfortable with documentation in electronic health records and working in an interdisciplinary setting
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (or accredited entry-level OT degree)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in standardized and functional OT assessments
- Strong treatment planning for ADLs, mobility, and adaptive equipment use
- Excellent communication and teaching skills for patients and caregivers
- Knowledge of safety, fall prevention, and adaptive equipment recommendations
- Proficient documentation practices and outcome tracking
- Collaborative team player who contributes to problem solving and care coordination
