Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve patient mobility, strength, and function
- Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and injury prevention
- Document patient progress thoroughly and timely in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care
- Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to a positive clinic culture
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts license to practice as a Physical Therapist (required)
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or equivalent degree
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clinical experience in rehabilitation or outpatient settings preferred (1+ year ideal)
- Strong assessment, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise skills
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master’s or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy acceptable with current licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in musculoskeletal and functional mobility assessments
- Proficient in developing and progressing individualized treatment plans
- Familiarity with documentation standards and EHR systems
- Ability to teach and motivate patients and families
- Time management and caseload prioritization skills
