Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Day (32 hours/week, no weekend rotation)

Candidate Pay Rate: $37 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans that set measurable goals and track progress
- Provide evidence-based therapy interventions and adjust approaches based on patient response
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and care teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Document clinical findings and progress in a timely, professional manner
- Educate patients and families on strategies to support communication and swallowing safety
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to advocate for patients' functional goals
Qualifications
- Active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with adult populations, including assisted living or rehabilitation settings, is a plus
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to complete documentation and meet regulatory standards
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in clinical evaluation of speech, language, cognition, and swallowing
- Knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies and outcome measurement
- Proficient in clinical documentation and electronic health record systems
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary care team
- Strong patient and family education skills
