Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and perform thorough assessments to create individualized care plans
• Develop and implement evidence-based rehabilitation programs that restore function
• Provide hands-on treatments and therapeutic exercise to maximize patient outcomes
• Document progress clearly and timely in the patient record to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate holistic patient care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, safety, and long-term wellness strategies
• Contribute to a positive patient experience by delivering compassionate, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Massachusetts or eligible to obtain MA state licensure
• Active BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Experience in rehabilitation or outpatient settings preferred (new grads may inquire)
• Strong clinical reasoning, documentation skills, and excellent communication
• Ability to work the posted schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 35 hours/week

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assessment, treatment planning, and outcome-driven interventions
• Proficiency with therapeutic exercise and manual therapy techniques
• Comfortable teaching and progressing home exercise programs
• Good documentation practices and familiarity with electronic medical records
• Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork and patient education
