Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day) with weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 43
Candidate Pay Rate: $38 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients comprehensively to identify impairments, functional limitations, and goals
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans focused on restoring mobility and independence
- Implement therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and functional training
- Document patient progress accurately and timely in the medical record
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other therapists to coordinate holistic patient care
- Educate patients and families on condition management, home exercise programs, and safety strategies
- Supervise and mentor therapy assistants and students when applicable to ensure high-quality care
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Maine or eligibility to obtain Maine licensure
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Active professional liability insurance or ability to obtain
- Clear background check and ability to meet facility credentialing requirements
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Proficiency in therapeutic exercise and manual therapy techniques
- Skilled at patient education and discharge planning
- Competent documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Good time management and caseload prioritization
