Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day) with weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 43
Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services under the direction of the supervising OTR to help patients regain independence
- Deliver personalized treatment plans that focus on meaningful daily activities for each patient
- Document patient progress thoroughly and communicate changes to the care team
- Assist with adaptive equipment recommendations and patient/caregiver training
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and families to create a cohesive plan of care
- Support quality improvement efforts and contribute ideas to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential in good standing
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain Maryland OTA licensure
- Experience working in rehabilitation, outpatient, or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Education
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment for functional independence
- Skilled in activity analysis and task modification
- Ability to document using clinical software and maintain accurate patient records
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Time management skills to balance caseload and documentation efficiently
