Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day shift), no weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 43
Candidate Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess communication and swallowing disorders using evidence-based tools and clinical judgment
- Develop individualized treatment plans that set clear goals and track measurable progress
- Deliver direct therapy to children and/or adults with speech, language, cognitive-communication, or dysphagia needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers to coordinate care and achieve best outcomes
- Document evaluations, treatment plans and progress notes in a timely and professional manner
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and staff on communication strategies and carryover techniques
Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for Speech-Language Pathology licensure in Tennessee
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Active professional liability insurance or ability to obtain it
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Previous clinical experience as an SLP preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply
- Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and intervention skills across pediatric and/or adult populations
- Knowledge of dysphagia management and safe swallowing techniques
- Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies
- Ability to create functional, family-centered treatment plans
- Comfortable using electronic medical records and documenting clinical outcomes
