Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality speech-language evaluations and individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to improve communication, language, and swallowing skills
- Document progress clearly and timely, maintaining accurate patient records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, holistic care
- Engage families and caregivers with coaching and home strategies to support patient progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development and quality improvement
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (preferred/typical for the role)
- Current or eligible Tennessee SLP license (required or must obtain upon hire)
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or working toward certification
- Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with therapy best practices
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent graduate degree)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in pediatric speech, language, and communication assessments
- Comfortable developing individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
- Effective communicator with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Proficient with clinical documentation and therapy progress tracking
- Knowledgeable about evidence-based therapy techniques and developmental milestones
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with strong problem-solving skills
