Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day), 35 hours/week, No weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 43
Candidate Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients' functional abilities and occupational needs to create meaningful treatment plans
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to improve daily living skills
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, adaptive equipment recommendations, and environmental modifications
- Document patient progress clearly and promptly to ensure continuity of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and family to support holistic rehabilitation goals
- Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and strategies to maximize independence
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina Occupational Therapist license (required)
- NBCOT certification or OTR credentials preferred
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Clinical experience in pediatric, outpatient, or rehabilitation settings is a plus; new grads with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication, assessment, and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Education
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (Bachelor's or Master's level; meet state licensure requirements)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy evaluation and treatment techniques
- Skilled in developing individualized treatment plans and documenting outcomes
- Familiarity with adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
- Comfortable with patient and family education to promote independence
- Ability to prioritize caseloads and manage time effectively
- Team-oriented mindset with solid interpersonal and communication skills
