Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled, patient-centered therapy treatments under PT direction to help patients regain independence
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility
- Document patient progress and update care plans clearly and timely
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
- Provide patient and family education to support recovery and safe transitions
- Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in New Hampshire or eligible to obtain licensure
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Previous PTA experience preferred (30+ hours/week or similar setting is a plus)
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
Education
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with therapeutic exercise, gait training, and assistive devices
- Good documentation skills and comfort with electronic medical records
- Ability to assess patient needs and implement PT plan-of-care tasks
- Strong teamwork and time-management abilities
- Patient education and discharge planning skills
