Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; 4 shifts one week / 3 shifts the next week (every other week) - Night

Candidate Pay Rate: $37 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition and provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly in the chart
- Provide patient and family education to promote recovery and self-care
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient status, escalating concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in North Carolina, or eligibility for state licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or PALS as applicable preferred
- Per-diem or travel experience is a plus, especially with 12-hour night shifts
- Up-to-date immunizations and any required facility health screenings
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass facility background checks and credentialing requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program for LPNs
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN) for RNs
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid patient assessment and monitoring skills
- Medication administration and safety practices
- Wound care and basic clinical procedures
- Electronic health record documentation and charting
- Infection control and standard precautions
- Time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
- Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
- Adaptability to rotating schedules and changing patient needs
