Shift Type: Per diem (variable days), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, day shift (evening hours)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents, supporting dignity and independence
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Help with safe transfers and mobility assistance while following proper body mechanics
- Observe and report changes in condition to nursing staff in a timely, accurate way
- Document care activities and communicate effectively with the care team and families
- Support meal assistance and ensure residents' comfort during dining and activities
- Contribute to a clean, safe, and respectful living environment for residents
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) preferred or required by facility
- Comfort working with older adults in a long-term care or geriatric setting
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- State-required immunizations and background check clearance as applicable
- Previous experience in long-term care or assisted living is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State GNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of infection control and safe care practices
- Skill with resident transfers, positioning, and mobility support
- Ability to observe, document, and communicate resident needs clearly
- Compassionate bedside manner and patience with cognitive or mobility challenges
- Basic charting and time-management skills to keep shifts running smoothly
