Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality radiation oncology care for adult patients in outpatient and hospital settings
• Perform and oversee conventional radiotherapy, 3D-CRT, IGRT, IMRT and stereotactic treatments including SBRT and fractionated SRS
• Order appropriate tests and imaging to guide diagnosis and treatment planning
• Prescribe and manage radiation treatment plans in collaboration with physics and therapy teams
• Document care accurately in Mosaiq and Epic to ensure continuity and safety
• Collaborate with the on-site APP and other radiation oncologists to maintain seamless patient coverage
• Manage a typical outpatient panel (approximately 20 patients/day) while maintaining patient-centered communication

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Radiation Oncology residency
• Board certified or board eligible in Radiation Oncology preferred
• Active state medical license in Ohio, or ability to obtain one in a timely manner
• Experience with treatment modalities such as IMRT, IGRT, 3D-CRT, SBRT and SRS
• Proficiency with Mosaiq and Epic EMR systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Comfort managing outpatient clinic volume (~20 patients/day) and occasional inpatient consults

Education

• MD or DO
• Completion of Radiation Oncology residency

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in Radiation Oncology treatment planning and delivery
• Familiarity with Mosaiq and Epic for documentation and orders
• Skilled in IMRT, IGRT, 3D radiotherapy techniques, SBRT and stereotactic radiosurgery
• Able to order and interpret imaging and diagnostic tests to guide care
• Experience working in both free-standing cancer centers and hospital-based environments
• Focus on adult patient population and delivering compassionate oncology care
