Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM; days vary and are not specified in posting (evening shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to geriatric residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Perform routine vital sign checks and report changes to nursing staff
- Support mealtime assistance and monitor dietary intake as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection-control standards
- Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) or equivalent
- Previous experience working with older adults preferred but new grads with training welcome
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a patient, respectful bedside manner
- Reliable transportation and ability to work assigned per diem shifts
Education
- High school diploma/GED and completion of an approved GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility support
- Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
- Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition
- Good documentation skills and attention to detail
- Teamwork-oriented with a positive, resident-first attitude
- Time management for efficient, compassionate care during shifts
