Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility to promote independence
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for patients
• Support patient dignity and emotional needs through kind, respectful interactions
• Communicate clearly with nurses and other team members to coordinate care
• Document care activities accurately and follow facility policies and infection control practices

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Current basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or required per facility policy
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
• Comfortable working with diverse adult patient populations and following care plans
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow direction from nursing staff

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and safe transfer techniques
• Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
• Infection prevention and basic hygiene practices
• Effective communication and teamwork in a clinical setting
• Documentation of care and attention to detail
