Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures with care and accuracy, following orders and protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after imaging
• Complete required checklists and competency exams to maintain high standards
• Verify and maintain required certifications and licensing documentation
• Follow infection control practices and comply with required health screenings and immunizations
• Communicate clearly with patients and the care team to support efficient workflow

Qualifications

• Experience in diagnostic radiology (per diem or hospital setting preferred)
• BLS certification (required)
• DCI/BVP certification (listed as a required credential)
• Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam as required
• License/Certificate Verification documented and up to date
• Successful completion of required health screenings: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, TB test/PPD, Varicella, Tdap, drug screen (minimum 10-panel), fit test, and physical/health statement

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid working knowledge of radiology procedures and patient positioning
• Strong patient-centered communication and bedside manner
• Attention to safety, infection control, and documentation detail
• Ability to follow competency checklists and testing protocols
• Comfort working in fast-paced clinical environments and adapting to per diem schedules
