Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with fluoroscopy-guided cath lab and interventional radiology procedures with precision and care
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment safely and maintain radiation protection standards
• Prepare patients for procedures, monitor vitals, and provide compassionate peri-procedural care
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the interventional team to ensure smooth workflow and positive outcomes
• Maintain accurate procedure documentation and complete required competency checklists and specialty exams
• Adhere to infection control and sterile technique protocols to protect patients and staff
• Support equipment setup, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance to keep the lab running

Qualifications

• Current Fluoro license required
• AART certification preferred or required as listed
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Proven cath lab and interventional radiology experience
• Ability to pass Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Specialty Exam, and Prime Skills Checklist
• Must meet health screening requirements including drug screen, fit test, PPD/TB screening, and required immunizations
• Physical/health statement clearance and ability to work in a procedural environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Fluoroscopy operation and safety best practices
• Cath lab and interventional radiology procedural support
• Cardiac and vascular procedure workflows and patient monitoring
• Strong infection control and sterile technique
• Clear communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
• Competency with procedural documentation and skills checklists
