Shift Type: Night shifts (exact start/end times not specified) — must include weekend availability; Per Diem nights with preference for clinicians able to work a full schedule through the end of January and the first week of February
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and promptly identify rhythm changes to keep patients safe
- Provide excellent medical-surgical nursing care for telemetry patients, including medication administration and wound care
- Respond efficiently to patient changes and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team during emergencies
- Maintain accurate and timely charting in the electronic health record and communicate handoffs clearly
- Complete required Prime core competencies and skills checklists to demonstrate clinical readiness
- Ensure compliance with vaccination, TB, drug screen, and background requirements prior to and shortly after start
- Educate patients and families about their conditions and care plans in a compassionate, understandable way
- Promote infection control practices and adhere to facility policies to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (California) or ability to verify licensure prior to start
- BLS and ACLS required; DCI/BVP required per posting
- PALS and NRP listed as desirable certifications where applicable
- Experience in telemetry and medical-surgical nursing (telemetry monitoring and patient observation skills)
- Ability to pass drug screen, background check, TB testing, and provide vaccination records or valid declination
- Completion of Prime Core Competencies and Prime Skills Checklist as part of onboarding
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry rhythm recognition and cardiac monitoring best practices
- Medical-surgical nursing skills including medication administration and IV management
- Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making on night shifts
- Clear documentation and effective clinical handoff communication
- Comfort working independently during night hours and escalating concerns appropriately
- Familiarity with infection control, immunization requirements, and compliance processes
