Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare patients for procedures with compassionate communication and safety screening
• Verify and maintain required certifications and compliance documentation prior to start and within two weeks of starting
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to ensure accurate imaging and timely results
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs in accordance with facility policies
• Perform infection control, radiation safety, and patient positioning protocols consistently
• Complete required competency exams and specialty checklists to demonstrate proficiency

Qualifications

• Active nursing license verification required
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP as applicable; DCI/BVP noted
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or attestation of vaccination/declination
• Ability to complete full compliance profile within two weeks after start date
• Comfort working day 12-hour shifts and flexible per diem scheduling

Education

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology or CT technologist program preferred
• Relevant certifications or specialized CT training is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong familiarity with CT imaging principles and patient positioning
• Knowledge of radiation safety and contrast administration best practices
• Ability to perform patient screening, triage, and pre-scan assessments
• Comfort using PACS/RIS and documenting imaging procedures
• Detail-oriented approach to meeting compliance, testing, and licensing requirements
• Excellent communication skills for working with patients and interdisciplinary teams
