Shift Type: Variable rotating shifts (days, evenings and nights), PD Variable Shift; exact start/end times and assigned days will be provided by the scheduler

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients quickly and compassionately in a fast-paced emergency setting
- Deliver urgent and evidence-based nursing care including medication administration and clinical interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers and the care team to implement treatment plans
- Monitor patient condition and response to treatment, escalating concerns in a timely manner
- Document clinical findings and interventions accurately and thoroughly
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and follow-up care
- Maintain infection control and safety practices to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification (required)
- DCI/BVP (as listed)
- Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist and Prime Specialty Exam as required
- License/certificate verification and successful Prime drug screening (minimum 10-panel)
- Up-to-date immunizations and health requirements: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, TB test/PPD or chest x-ray, Varicella, Tdap, fit test
- Comfort working variable/rotating shifts in an emergency department environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong emergency nursing assessment and triage skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask under pressure
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families and the care team
- Accurate clinical documentation and charting
- Familiarity with infection control, patient safety and ED workflows
- Teamwork and adaptability in a dynamic clinical environment
