Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional bedside care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized nursing plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document resident status, interventions and outcomes clearly and promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Support residents’ emotional and social needs with empathy and respect
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharge processes as needed
• Maintain a safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active California RN license (required)
• Current CPR certification (required)
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Dependable attendance, organized, and able to adapt to changing situations
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends as needed
• Compassionate, team-oriented attitude with good interpersonal skills

• Resident assessment and care planning
• Medication administration and documentation
• Infection control and safety procedures
• Charting in electronic or paper records with attention to detail
• Effective communication with residents, families and staff
• Time management and prioritization during 12-hour shifts
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a care team
