Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, weekend rotation required; may be scheduled for other shifts as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to acquire high-quality diagnostic images for patient care
- Perform CT exams in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while following radiation safety best practices
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical teams in a Level II trauma setting
- Document procedures accurately in EPIC EMR and maintain clear communication with care teams
- Support fluoroscopic procedures when required and adhere to the fluoroscopy permit guidelines
- Maintain equipment and report issues to biomedical or engineering teams promptly
Qualifications
- Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the California Department of Health Services
- Active AART membership or equivalent registry credentials
- Valid Fluoroscopy permit for the State of California
- Current CPR certification
- At least 2 years of prior CT scanning experience
- Prior successful completion of traveler assignments preferred
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
- Experience with GE CT scanners preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
- Proficiency in radiation safety and patient positioning
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR for order management and documentation
- Comfort working in a Level II trauma environment and handling urgent cases
- Good interpersonal and patient care skills, especially for diverse patient populations
- Ability to troubleshoot imaging equipment and coordinate with service teams
