Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging exams using established protocols and safety practices
- Position and prepare patients with care and clear communication to ensure comfort and image quality
- Operate CT scanner equipment, monitor image acquisition, and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control procedures at all times
- Maintain accurate patient and procedural documentation in the medical record
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the care team to support timely diagnoses
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and competency checklists (Trinity Skills Checklist)
Qualifications
- Current CT technologist experience (Computed Tomography) — comfortable operating CT equipment
- BLS certification (required)
- License/Certificate Verification completed prior to start (per posting)
- Successful completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and any site-specific competencies
- Willingness to complete pre-employment health requirements (fit test, Trinity 10-panel drug screen, required vaccinations and TB screening)
- Comfort working on a long-term travel/contract assignment and covering scheduled weekend rotations
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and patient positioning
- Familiarity with radiation safety principles and ALARA practices
- Comfortable using electronic medical records and imaging systems
- Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
- Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration and time-management skills
