Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient physical therapy care while supporting occasional inpatient needs
• Assess patients thoroughly and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercise to improve function and mobility
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the rehab team to coordinate patient care
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans clearly and on time
• Participate in competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical excellence
• Communicate with patients and families with empathy, setting goals and educating for long-term success
• Support a safe clinic environment by maintaining required immunizations and health screenings

Qualifications

• Current Oregon PT license (required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist (required)
• License and certificate verification completed prior to start
• Willingness to complete required health screenings (fit test, drug screen, immunizations) prior to assignment
• Experience in outpatient settings with some inpatient exposure preferred
• Availability for occasional Saturday coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of outpatient musculoskeletal evaluation and treatment
• Familiarity with inpatient physical therapy practices and transitions of care
• Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional mobility training
• Comfortable with EMR documentation and timely charting
• Excellent communication, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Good time management and ability to prioritize a busy caseload
• Commitment to ongoing competency checks and adherence to facility protocols
