Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and report accurate clinical laboratory testing across assigned sections during the night shift
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and point-of-care devices
• Follow quality control, quality assurance, and safety protocols to ensure reliable results
• Document results, maintain clear records, and assist with instrument logs and maintenance documentation
• Participate in competency assessments including Trinity specialty testing and skills checklists
• Collaborate with the lab team and clinical staff to support patient care and timely result delivery
• Assist with inventory management, reagent control, and proper specimen handling procedures

Qualifications

• Active MLT or Medical Technologist credential (MLT / Medical Technologist) as required
• ASCP certification noted as a credential in the posting
• BLS certification
• License/Certificate Verification (state license or equivalent) required
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist as part of onboarding
• Ability to pass required health screenings: Fit test, Trinity 10 panel drug screen, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, and physical/health statement
• Trinity Color Vision testing where applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of clinical laboratory procedures and testing methodologies
• Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting
• Knowledge of quality control, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance
• Accurate specimen handling and labeling practices
• Clear documentation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently on night shift and communicate effectively with team members
