Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, hands-on nursing care to adult residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care in the clinical record
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition promptly to the care team
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and basic nursing procedures as indicated
• Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to implement care plans
• Support safe patient transfers, mobility assistance, and fall prevention strategies
• Maintain clear, professional communication with families and the care team

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina required
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN/LVN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid fundamentals in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Accurate vital signs assessment and clinical observation skills
• Proficient documentation and charting habits
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Compassionate patient-focused communication and family engagement
