Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality external beam radiation treatment plans using Eclipse
• Present treatment plans to Radiation Oncologists clearly and confidently
• Perform plan QA and ensure safe, accurate treatments for a busy patient census
• Collaborate with Radiation Therapists, Physicians, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize care
• Supervise and coordinate with Radiation Therapists as needed to maintain smooth operations
• Document treatments and charting accurately using EPIC and PACS systems

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant dosimetry or radiation therapy experience
• Proven experience with Eclipse treatment planning and Aria record-and-verify
• Driver's license required at submittal (radius rule applies — candidates outside 50 miles to CommonSpirit facilities are not eligible)
• Willingness to comply with clinical grooming policies (artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas)

Education

• Dosimetry training and/or radiation therapy background
• Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) required
• BLS certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong expertise in external beam planning: 3D-CRT, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SBRT
• Familiarity with proton therapy concepts and brachytherapy workflows (preferred)
• Experience with Aria electronic record-and-verify system
• Charting and EMR proficiency with EPIC
• Comfort using PACS, MIM, and Radformation for image review and plan QA
• Hands-on experience with Varian TruBeam and Edge platforms
• Ability to present technical plans to physicians and work collaboratively across teams
