Roles & Responsibilities
- Process and prepare medications accurately using established pharmacy procedures
- Support pharmacists by managing prescription workflows and medication records
- Use Epic Willow Ambulatory to enter, track, and reconcile medication orders
- Assist with inventory control, stocking, and medication storage checks
- Perform medication dispensing and labeling with attention to safety and detail
- Communicate clearly with clinical teams to help optimize patient drug therapy
- Participate in quality assurance tasks and help maintain compliance with policies
Qualifications
- Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License required upon submission
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Epic Willow Ambulatory experience required
- Successful completion of a Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred
- Pre-employment/post-offer drug screen required prior to start
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work as part of a healthcare team
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of pharmacy technician training preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with pharmacy workflows and medication preparation
- Experience with Epic Willow Ambulatory electronic health record
- Strong organizational skills and accuracy in dispensing tasks
- Good communication skills for working with pharmacists and clinical staff
- Basic inventory management and record-keeping skills
- Knowledge of medication safety practices and regulatory compliance
