Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments and use the nursing process to guide care
• Develop individualized plans of care and update them as patient needs change
• Implement nursing interventions and treatments safely and effectively
• Evaluate patient responses and revise care plans to optimize outcomes
• Document patient care clearly and promptly using electronic charting
• Serve as a professional liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Support team coordination and step in for unit leadership when needed
• Communicate compassionately and professionally in all patient interactions

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania (required)
• Minimum 2 years of prior RN experience (Med/Surg experience preferred)
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider (must renew every two years)
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting preferred
• Comfort functioning as part of a team and communicating with diverse patients and staff
• Charge nurse or clinical supervision experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Nursing process and clinical reasoning
• Patient assessment and documentation
• Care planning and implementation of nursing measures
• Evaluation of care effectiveness and adjustment of interventions
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary staff
• Basic Life Support (BLS) competency
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records (preferred)
