Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct resident care, assisting with activities of daily living to preserve dignity and comfort
• Perform routine clinical tasks and follow care plans under direction of licensed staff
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report observations to the nursing team
• Support social and emotional needs of long term care residents, building trust and rapport
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility infection control and safety procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Colorado CNA certification required
• Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) required
• Ability to work day shifts and to start quickly (Quick Start assignment)
• Willingness to live in shared furnished housing (or confirm own housing) as needed
• Compliance with state-mandated COVID vaccination requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current Colorado CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong resident-centered care skills and experience with ADLs
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of long term care routines, safety, and infection control practices
• Reliable, compassionate, and organized with attention to documentation
