Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform CT examinations with care and precision, delivering high-quality diagnostic images
- Position and prepare patients for scanning while ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate CT equipment according to protocol and maintain strict radiation safety practices
- Complete required documentation and charting accurately and in a timely manner
- Follow infection control procedures and facility-specific health requirements
- Participate in competency assessments such as the Trinity Skills Checklist
- Communicate clearly with radiologists, nursing staff, and patients to support excellent care
- Maintain equipment readiness and report any technical issues promptly
Qualifications
- CT modality experience (CT listed as core skill) — able to perform CT imaging confidently
- BLS certification (required)
- License/certificate verification as required by state and facility
- Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and facility competency requirements
- Ability to pass pre-employment health requirements: fit test, Trinity 10-panel drug screen, and required immunizations
- Up-to-date immunizations and health clearance (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA, physical/health statement)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of CT imaging principles and cross-sectional anatomy
- Radiation safety and ALARA practices
- Patient positioning and care for diagnostic CT exams
- Strong attention to image quality and detail
- Clear communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary care environment
- Ability to follow protocols, complete checklists, and maintain accurate records
