Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 4-week schedule with 3-4 weekend shifts required per scheduling period (day shift, rotating schedule including weekends)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide advanced cardiac critical care for CCU patients, including those with cardiogenic shock
- Continuously monitor and interpret hemodynamic data from PA catheters and telemetry
- Manage mechanical circulatory support devices such as IABP and Impella with competence and confidence
- Perform or support procedures including central line and Swan-Ganz insertions and assist with intubations
- Manage ventilators and provide post-intubation care when required
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Document accurate, timely patient information in Meditech and communicate changes in condition
- Support unit initiatives, mentor team members, and contribute to a positive patient experience
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse licensure appropriate for Tennessee assignments
- Minimum 2 years of recent critical care or cardiac ICU nursing experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Experience with PA catheter management and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
- Hands-on experience with IABP and Impella devices
- Competence in ventilator management and intubation support
- Experience with central line and Swan-Ganz care or insertions
- CRRT experience preferred
- Telemetry monitoring experience and familiarity with Meditech documentation preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Hemodynamic monitoring and PA catheter interpretation
- Mechanical circulatory support: IABP and Impella
- Ventilator management and airway support including intubation
- Central line and Swan-Ganz care and procedures
- Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) familiarity
- Electronic documentation with Meditech
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
