Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to ICU patients in a 1:2 patient ratio environment
• Deliver advanced bedside procedures such as CRRT, intubations, and line placements safely and efficiently
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamics, ventilator settings, and complex patient data to guide care decisions
• Document care accurately in Meditech and communicate clearly with interdisciplinary team members
• Operate and troubleshoot unit equipment including Philips monitors and Alaris infusion pumps
• Participate in unit-based initiatives to improve patient experience and care quality (ICARE-driven culture)
• Support orientation of team members and contribute to a collaborative, award-winning nursing culture

Qualifications

• Active RN license (eligible to practice in Tennessee or ability to obtain state licensure promptly)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU / critical care nursing experience (per job posting)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Hands-on experience with CRRT, intubations, and central line management
• Comfortable with Meditech documentation and common ICU devices (Philips monitors, Alaris pumps)
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient advocacy skills

Education

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care assessment and advanced clinical judgment
• Mechanical ventilation management and bedside respiratory support
• Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) knowledge and troubleshooting
• Vascular access and line care (placement familiarity and maintenance)
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic documentation
• Familiarity with Philips patient monitors and Alaris infusion pump operation
• Ability to function confidently in a fast-paced, high-acuity ICU setting
