Roles & Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently to community patients, ensuring safety and compliance
• Prepare and deliver discharge medications to bedside in collaboration with pharmacy and nursing teams
• Provide immunizations support and assist with medication management services
• Document care and medication activities in Epic Willow Ambulatory with attention to detail
• Support sterile compounding processes when required and follow all safety and regulatory protocols
• Communicate clearly with patients and caregivers about medication use, side effects, and follow-up
• Maintain inventory, assist with stocking, and ensure pharmacy workflow remains smooth and patient-focused

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License (required upon submission)
• Epic Willow Ambulatory experience (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Pre-employment/post-offer drug screen required prior to start
• Outpatient (retail) pharmacy experience preferred (e.g., Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS)
• Sterile compounding experience preferred
• Successful completion of a Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical Pharmacy Technician course completion preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Pharmacy dispensing and medication verification
• Medication management and patient counseling
• Administering or supporting immunizations
• Preparing and coordinating discharge medications to bedside
• Proficiency with Epic Willow Ambulatory electronic health record
• Sterile compounding principles (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and customer-service mindset
• Ability to follow policies, maintain documentation, and meet regulatory standards
