Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process: assess needs, develop and implement the plan of care, and evaluate outcomes
• Serve as the unit nursing leader during your assigned shift and ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Coordinate care and act as a clear liaison between patients, families, and the clinical team
• Document timely and accurate patient information in the electronic charting system (EPIC experience preferred)
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and staff to support positive outcomes
• Demonstrate sound judgment and maintain emotional resilience when caring for acutely ill patients

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania (PA RN License required)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience (Med/Surg experience preferred)
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification (Healthcare Provider) and willingness to renew every two years
• Experience with EPIC patient charting is preferred
• Strong verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and creation of individualized care plans
• Care implementation and evaluation using evidence-based nursing practice
• Med/Surg clinical experience and comfort managing acutely ill patients
• Teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary staff
• Professional documentation and charting (EPIC preferred)
• Excellent communication, tact, and patient/family-centered care skills
