Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care and assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding) with dignity
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team to ensure timely interventions
• Support mobility and safe transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Document care accurately and promptly to maintain clear communication across the care team
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with therapists and licensed nurses to support individualized care and rehabilitation goals

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or T-CNA certification required
• Active BLS/CPR certification (recommended or required per facility policy)
• Valid authorization to work in the U.S. (follow facility credentialing requirements)
• Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts and providing hands-on patient care
• Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or similar settings preferred

Education

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills and knowledge of ADLs (activities of daily living)
• Familiarity with infection control standards and safe patient handling
• Basic clinical observation skills — recognizing and reporting changes
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and the care team
• Reliable documentation and basic charting skills
